Dr. Marvin Hogan, Executive Director
Marvin Hogan is a native Mississippian. He received his B.S. Degree in Economics & Social Studies at Rust College, Holly Springs, MS; completed graduate work in management at John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, Los Angeles, CA and Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX. He is a recipient of numerous distinguished awards, certificates and accomplishments as an outstanding advocate for children and families as well as a recipient of an honorary doctorate degree.
For the past forty-five years he has served in his present position as Executive Director of Friends of Children of Mississippi, Inc. (FCM, Inc.), Jackson, MS. FCM, Inc. is a 501C-3 private, nonprofit, tax-exempt human service agency providing the highest quality comprehensive early childhood development services and a broad range of services to children and families in a 15-county service delivery area.
Dr. Hogan’s visionary leadership with an emphasis on Breaking the Cycle of Generational Poverty and Securing Financial & Organizational Sustainability has guided FCM, Inc. to ensure children and their families are prepared for the future.
